NXNE has landed in our fair city for its 18th year and you can bet that some of the festival's most exciting acts are playing Underground. Wednesday’s opening showcase is headlined by Toronto natives Sidney York who have been described as "part glitzy pop, part avant-pop, and part fun." Several international DJs will hold down the Underground with headlining shows throughout the week. Buzz-worthy Tommy Kruise will bring the house down before the Caribbean’s Kayo will keeps partygoers dancing ‘til 4AM. Drake’s NXNE showcase will wrap-up on Saturday with a rare north-of-the-boarder appearance by Brooklyn’s Smif N' Wessun followed by late night DJ heroes, Mastermind and Fase. Attend the performances nightly with a festival wristband or individual tickets ($10, for sale at the door).
