The Drake Devonshire Inn is currently being restored and transformed into a thoughtfully curated boutique hotel. Housed within a beautiful historic building that literally hovers over the shores of Lake Ontario, we’re counting down the days until we officially open in 2013. Expect to find each of our eleven hotel rooms stylishly updated in a rough-luxe design palette, complete with a cheeky nod to rustic Canadiana. We’ll even have an old school games room! Backgammon, anyone? The expansive deck, outdoor bar, restaurant and private dining area will host our seasonal menus. Featuring PEC farm and lake-to-table dining, our kitchen will be serving up classic dishes with a renowned Drake twist. Not to mention our deep Bar Book imported from our flagship Drake Hotel, full of acclaimed cocktails, PEC wines and more. Whether you’re enjoying a winter warmer cocktail by our fireplace or your morning cup of Drake brew on our beach side patio, you’ll feel right at home.
In true Drake style, expect to find each day filled with our unparalleled cultural programming- featuring local musicians, artists and performers that’ll surely inspire you. We’ll also act as your County concierge, offering art, wine and adventure tours and excursions that show off the best bits of our new neighbourhood. Just as The Drake Hotel proudly redefined Toronto’s boutique hotel experience, our trailblazing Inn will create the cozy feel of a year-round camp for grown-ups, alongside a genuine local hangout and next-generation getaway for the metropolitan cottage crowd, with the best of amenities, dining and entertainment.
Drake Hotel Properties is an evolving lifestyle brand focused on a growing stable of hotels, restaurants and retail stores. Our first outpost that is proudly being developed in Prince Edward County extends Drake’s cultural mandate by doing what we do best: inviting you to experience our blend of bespoke hotel and cultural community centre while enjoying great seasonal menus, a deep cocktail list and sincere hospitality excellence. We are proudly creating our own version of a rural county retreat where travelers, culture seekers and neighbours all happily intersect to enjoy the thoughtful contradictions of high and low, new and old.
