Where can I park my ride?
Registered hotel guests can pre-book a spot in advance for your car at a rate of $25 / day. Space is limited, so give us a shout at: email@example.com. If we are all booked up, there is an indoor Green P lot located at 45 Abell St. “Carpark Lot #261”, ½ a block south of the Hotel. Just purchase your ticket from the machine and display it on your dash, pay online or with the Green P Parking APP. Tickets are $1.00 / half hour + $12.00 for a 12-hour period. For periods greater than 12 hours, select "Max Time" repeatedly until you are covered.
How do I get there?
How does the TTC work?
You can "ride the rocket" for $3.25. Remember to pay with exact change and grab a transfer as your Proof of Payment [POP] to transfer to alternate lines + subways. You can transfer between subway + ground routes only if you are making a one-way trip to a destination. You cannot hop on / hop off any part of the TTC. Want to ride like a Torontonian while you're in town? Visit the TTC website for information about alternate fares + passes for your length of stay.
Are all the hotel rooms different and can you accommodate special room requests?
Whether you’re looking for a sunny corner Suite, a Salon with a super-luxe washroom, an ultra-quiet Den or an exposed brick Crashpad, each of our 19 rooms are filled with uniquely curated artwork + design sensibilities. Our Hotel staff know every room inside-out and will happily help you make the best selection for your visit.
What time can I check in?
We’re more than happy to check you in anytime after 3PM. Check out time is at 11AM, which gives you time to enjoy breakfast in our Café.
What is our cancellation policy?
Currently 24 hours in advance - before 3PM the day before your arrival date!

Absolutely! We heart sharing all of our exhibits and gallery spaces with neighbours and guests alike. Our rotating exhibits of work change regularly, with a new show installed every season. Be sure to catch The Drake’s very own on-site curator in our lobby for the inside scoop on upcoming projects or even an impromptu tour.
Does The Drake Hotel offer special group rates?
Our Special Events team offers a one stop shop for planning and executing your meeting, wedding or event. We offer our best available rates and courtesy holds for group room bookings. Can I take my wedding pics at The Drake Hotel?
Congratulations on your engagement! While we'd love to have the capacity to accommodate everyone's request, the truth is that photo opps are reserved for couples who are having their wedding or engagement event here at The Drake. Is The Drake accessible by wheelchair?
Our Café, Lounge and Dining Room are all accessible by wheelchair, as well as a washroom on the main floor (unfortunately our Sky Yard and our Underground are not). Please feel free to call us prior to your visit if you require special access.
Is there a dress code?
The Drake welcomes all guests who share our love of food, drink + culture. Not sure what to wear? Get as creative as you want, keeping one word in mind: refined. Shine up your shoes, wear all the patterns you choose and don’t be afraid to break out your fancy pants. On Friday and Saturday nights especially, the vibe is dress to impress. Please note; guests who do not share our philosophies of inclusiveness, or do not enjoy our tunes, eats and cocktails with demonstrated respect and courtesy for our staff and their fellow guests may not be permitted to enter or may be asked to leave.

What is The Drake's policy on ensuring safety for all guests + staff?
The Drake’s mission is to act as a community hub and foster a positive, inclusive and safe environment for all guests and staff.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence and harassment on our properties, for both our staff and our patrons. Our policies to ensure guest and employee safety include extensive staff training at the time of hiring, regularly refreshing and updating training throughout staff tenure, regular review of policies and protocols to ensure they meet or exceed the latest government requirements, legislation and industry best practices, and collaborating with community and industry partners to stay at the forefront of developments in the sector. Equipping our team with the tools to handle complex situations and maintaining the safety of all staff and guests is of the utmost importance to us at The Drake.
The Drake's guests, staff, vendors, artists, and collaborators are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, remaining mindful of and taking responsibility for their speech and behaviour at all times. We respect free expression but will not tolerate words or actions that are racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist, classist, transphobic, cissexist, or ableist. Respecting physical and emotional boundaries, we do not accept oppressive behaviour, harassment, or exclusionary actions.
Should you ever find yourself in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation at The Drake, please notify one of our team members immediately. Our goal at all times is to create a safe environment. We are here to help, should you require situational intervention or assistance getting home safely.
Guests who do not demonstrate respect and courtesy for our staff and their fellow guests may not be permitted to enter or may be asked to leave. The Drake management will intervene where necessary to help ensure these expectations are met.
