We’re kicking off February with a month-long menu celebrating the Chefs who have helped to make The Drake a culinary landmark on Toronto’s and Prince Edward County’s food and drink scene. Featuring fan-favourite past plates and pours from Ted Corrado, Alexandra Feswick, Matt Demille, Anthony Rose, Cheynelle Fraser, Chantelle Gabino, David Banks, Rudy Olson, Russ Coughlin and more.

THE MENUS 

The Drake Hotel 
Enjoy Drake throwbacks from sushi pizza by longtime resident Sushi Chef, lobster nachos, Nonna's meatballs and more. Plus, we're opening the cocktail vault and bringing back some of your favourites including the Brown Butter Maple Old Fashioned. 

Drake Devonshire 
In The County, take a stroll down memory lane with nostalgic plates including seafood chowder with crab legs and a nutty home-style mac + cheese and cocktails dreamed up by then resident bartenders Russ Coughlin and David Banks. 

For one night only, join Drake Chefs from the past + present including Taylor McMeekin, Amanda Ray, Anthony Rose, Ted Corrado, Alexandra Feswick, Matt Ravenscroft and Jonas Grupiljonas for a seven-course feast.  The multi-course dinner will be paired with our spirited alumni Spirit of York Distillery, Grange of Prince Edward Winery, Rosehall Run Vineyards, Noble Estates, and Halpern Wines. A portion of each ticket sale will be going to Stop Community Food Centre.

After the dinner, guests can party with NO COVER into the night with sounds from DJ Nana.

Hamachi Tiradito by Ted Corrado with aji amarillo, ume + cilantro

Roast Cauliflower by Matthew Ravenscroft with hazelnuts, grapes, dill, leek vinaigrette

Lamb Bacon Ravioli by The Drake Hotel’s Executive Chef Taylor McMeekin with creamed spinach, lamb broth

5th Course
Herb Crusted Halibut by Drake Devonshire’s Executive Amanda Ray with East Coast mussels, brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes, chanterelles, buttermilk sauce

6th Course
Smoked Wagyu Pastrami by Anthony Rose with cheesy black truffle garlicky Challah bread w/ pickle parfait + mustards

Final Course
Tiramisu by Jonas Grupiljonas w/ ‘Lunas Disco Inferno’ coffee, toasted buckwheat Mascarpone + filbert Savoiardi

Hailed as one of the best music venues in Toronto, Drake Underground has become a cornerstone of Toronto’s music landscape with the likes of Leon Bridges, Metric, Peaches, Broken Social Scene, Billie Eilish and more taking the stage. Led by Jalyssa Mills (The Drake’s Talent Booker), Past Drake Programmers come together with some of Toronto's top music producers + event producers for one night to discuss the evolution of the city’s music scene and look ahead to how spaces can continue to support the careers of Toronto’s musical talent. Post-panel stick around to network with light bites and beer from Ace Hill.

The fête continues into the long weekend when our friends from All Vinyl Everything take you on a tour of sounds spanning the last 20 years and into the future.

Come together on the dance floor with DJs Agile, Mensa, and a very special performance from Toronto legend, DJ Jakes aka Aristotle.

When the sun goes down on Feb 23, get ready for our WQW Throwback full-building bash with sounds + sets from the Drake Lounge to Drake Underground, and performance art throughout the building from Danica Olders.

Brendan Canning, founding member of Canadian indie rock icons Broken Social Scene takes over the lounge stage with friends including members from Stars, Zeus, and Apostle of Hustle. Plus a very special set 10 years in the making, as all members of controller. controller  come together for a one-night-only performance + more w/ DJ John Kong closing out the night.

Keep the party going in the basement that rarely sleeps with Juno-nominated and Polaris Prize nominee Begonia + Regina Gently with special performances throughout the night. 

It’s a Toronto vs. Montreal showdown at Drake Devonshire. Barn Burner, our beloved all-star hospitality hockey game, and epic culinary after-party returns on Feb 24 with special guests.

The Big Game

The event kicks off with a skills competition between the Chefs and our own Wellington Dukes followed by our Drake + guest chef teams facing off in the ultimate hockey game showdown.  Keep fueled up throughout the game with snacks and concessions from Drake Devonshire, The Royal Hotel, Flame and Smith, Beacon Bike + Brew, La Condesa, Parsons Brewing, 555 Brewing Co and more.

Post-Game Celebration
