Genesis admits she was “exposed to everything” with her young forays into the creative realm. From art school (where she majored in film and sculpture) to present day, Tommy operates throughout various creative outlets. Whether music, film, poetry, painting, contour nude drawing, or curating art spaces, she comes from a diversely oriented world. Dictating her own practice comes natural.
“I’m fully immersed in that culture,” Tommy says, adding, “I’m immune to any shock at this point.”
Tommy’s self-titled debut Tommy Genesis was released November 9, 2018.
