Artificial Cave ​explores organic forms through inorganic materials. Foam sealant forms stalagmites, plaster objects stand in as rock debris. In photographs the objects are removed from context, on display as artifacts from another time. Sculptural pieces are museum dioramas, recreated bits of the landscape from a human-made cavern.
