Owen Marshall (b. 1992, Canada) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Toronto whose practice focuses on societal and spatial observations through text-based work.

Unremarkable Staircase humorously explores stairs as a facilitator of movement through space. By simultaneously drawing attention to their presence and labelling them as unnoteworthy, he asks the viewer to further consider the things that allow for access and exploration.
