Lee Bedford (AKA Luv Lee) is a Prince Edward County multimedia artist represented by Carbon Art and Design in downtown Picton. Her practice is currently focused on the production of collage and fibre-based works, and includes both one of a kind pieces and open edition multiples. A self-taught artist and maker, they create inclusive and accessible pieces centred on themes of nature, sex and sexuality, death, and humanity, with a gently surreal and absurdist edge. They strive to recycle and reuse materials in the production of much of their work, with the goal of being kind and thoughtful to the earth and her peeps. In this series each hoop represents a different LGBTQIA+ flag including the Progress Pride flag, Transgender flag, Intersex flag, Lesbian flag, Bisexual flag, Pansexual flag, and Non-Binary flag.
