Bubblegum Bikini is the party your friends are talking about, that hazy night you're trying to remember, and all the fun you know you're about to have. Cooking up elements of funk, soul, rock, and pop with a hefty helping of sweat, this Toronto outfit has made a name for themselves by packing dance floors all over the city.
The starting five consists of drummer Da-Rell Clifton (@supercmusic), trombonist Ernesto Barahona (@ernestotrombono), saxophonist/vocalist Evan Porter (@ep_sounds), bassist Jon "Alacran" Amador (@alacran.amador) and guitarist/vocalist Mark Calderone (@nicemarkmusic).
By holding down residencies at some of Toronto's favourite venues (Mrs Robinson, The Wheatsheaf, Vatican Giftshop) Bubblegum Bikini has built a following of positive fun-loving people looking for a good time.
