Overlooking a bustling stretch of West Queen West, the Drake Sky Yard is a sun-soaked rooftop oasis perched above The Drake Hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto. We transformed the Sky Yard into a lush, Marfa-inspired terrace featuring a mural by Toronto artist Louise Reimer. Plus, with locally-sourced food (made from scratch at Drake Commissary) + a slew of finely crafted cocktails, the Sky Yard is your spot for breezy late-night cocktails and sunny weekend brunches.

Food + Drink
Toronto’s identity is its diversity, having so many different cultures and different foods is its strength and something that we wanted to show case and offer to the guest. Also, Working with the season and local producers is something that is very important to me, that means a constantly changing menu to give the guest the best possible ingredients and dishes!
Meet The Artist: Louise Reimer
Louise Reimer is a Toronto-based visual artist and clothing designer whose love of pastel colors, white space, and 1970s feminist icons intertwine to create a distinctive and enchanting style of illustration. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks, Reimer creates minimalist visual masterpieces, which she often prints onto plain white t-shirts, crewnecks and pins. Her Sky Yard mural is inspired by the colours and visual history of Marfa, Texas — a Wild West of headstrong women and an everlasting golden hour.
