DRAG ME TO THE OPERA - JUN 3

Kick off Pride Month at The Drake Hotel with the ultimate mash-up of Opera and Drag. Host/producer Gregory Finney and Toronto Drag Artist Selena Vyle are teaming up with Opera Revue to bring a bigger and wilder iteration of last year’s smash Pride festival hit: a one-night-only spectacle of music and magic.

MERMAID BALL - JUN 7 

Squid Lid’s annual summer costume party, Mermaid Ball is taking over The Drake Hotel to bring you a special night of music, and performance with each floor transforming + transcending you into a different dimension.  Dive in and immerse yourself into an under-the-sea world of wonder in the Drake Lounge; get the beach life at The Sky Yard and then shift into a darker Trench of bassy mysteries in Drake Underground. With hundreds of beautiful creatures, all celebrating with an open mind and sense of adventure under one roof, you know you’re in for one most memorable time! ☆ Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory ☆

A night of Joy. Presented by Yohomo and inspired by the '90s after-hours club of the same name, JOY was unlike anything else in Toronto at the time. A club for Queer folks, not just gay men. It was fashion, it was house music, it was late night, it was social, and it was a place that birthed so many Toronto nightlife legends.
