NOTES ABOUT YOUR STAY
AT THE DRAKE HOTEL
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in any time after 3PM; check-out at 11AM. Need an extra-long sleep-in? A late check-out fee applies to all late check-out requests and are subject to availability. Light sleeper? E-mail or call us to request a quieter room and we will try our very best to accommodate.
ABOUT YOUR BOOKING: A valid credit card is required for booking + check-in (VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX). Interac Visa/Mastercard Debit is not considered a valid credit card and is not accepted for pre-paid bookings, please reach out if you used an Interac Visa/MC for pre-payment, or your booking may be canceled. We require a matching government-issued photo I.D. to be presented upon check-in for payment. Incidentals are collected as a pending charge at check-in, posted as $200 at all times. If you present debit (Interac Visa/MC), incidentals will be set at a minimum $500/booking, held at the time of check-in as a security deposit. Any additional charges to the credit card may occur post your stay related, but not limited to, smoking, pets, noise complaints, minibar consumption, nonregistered guests, and damage to our building. The credit card used to secure the booking must be presented at check-in. If it is not provided, the charges will be reversed, and the card presented on-site will be processed for payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 72 hours notice before check-in time (before 3PM) to avoid a cancellation charge in the amount of one night's stay. This 72-hour policy is also in effect for changing dates or the total number of nights within a confirmed reservation. Reservation date changes, rescheduling your stay or cancellations within 72 hours of your reservation will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of your first night's stay.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: Please note that The Drake upholds a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, abuse, harassment, or violence; violations will result in immediate removal and forfeiture of payment. Please refer to our Code of Conduct for more information.
PRE-PAID + NON-REFUNABLE BOOKINGS: Pre-paid reservations will be charged the full cost of the reservation within 24 hours of making the reservation. If payment is unsuccessful within 48 hours of making the reservation, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Date changes to the reservation are not allowed. Cancellation will result in forfeiture of the prepayment. The credit card used at the time of making the reservation must be valid for the entire stay.

REGISTERED GUESTS: Only registered hotel guests (2) are permitted in your room after 11PM. All non-registered guests may be asked to leave the hotel rooms/hallways after midnight. We also ask that you are considerate of your neighbors and keep noise at acceptable levels. Noise issues are subject to eviction. If you're seeking a post-midnight party, it can usually be found somewhere else in the building!
PARKING: Green P lot located at 45 Abell St. Carpark Lot #261, a half block south of the hotel. Purchase your ticket from the machine and display it on your dash, or pay online or with the Green P Parking APP. Tickets are $1.00 / half hour + $12.00 for 12 hours. Please note - select "Max Time" repeatedly for more than 12-hour increments.
ALL HOTEL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING: We have a strict non-smoking policy. If you smoke in your room at any time during your stay, a fine of $250 per day will be applied to your bill. Smoking is not permitted in the lobby or in the bar/dining areas.
PETS: Although we love animals, we are not able to welcome any furry friends or animals of any kind on the premises outside of our patio spaces.
ACCESSIBILITY: The Drake Hotel is a historic building, and all Classic Wing guest rooms are accessible by stairs. Rooms in our Modern Wing are accessible by elevator.
