WOMEN + 2SLGBTQI+
From the legendary A Club Called Rhonda parties and events throughout the year, to workshops and activations as an official hospitality partner of Pride Toronto [https://www.pridetoronto.com/], the Drake is known as a safe and inclusive space for our LGBTQ2+ guests, team members, and communities and we will continue to make this a priority.
The Drake is a proud ally and a member of World Rainbow Hotels [https://www.worldrainbowhotels.com/]. World Rainbow Hotels brings together a global community of LGBT2Q+ welcoming accommodations, carefully selected through a strict set of selection criteria. World Rainbow Hotels is the first and only GDS-accredited LGBT2Q+ consortia program, qualifying its member hotels to be part of the alliance.
The Drake is also an official Rainbow Registered hospitality partner with the CGLCC [www.cglcc.ca/programs/rainbow-registered] following a thorough audit of our policies and our environment to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices are in place. The Rainbow Registered accreditation program sets standards for building a culture of inclusivity and a commitment to inclusive leadership to ensure LGBT2Q+ customers feel safe, welcomed, and accepted.
Additionally, The Drake is a proud partner of GOOD TO BE GOOD, an intersectional grassroots nonprofit dedicated to advancing gender equity for women and gender-diverse people in underserved and historically marginalized communities, building a more connected and equal world. Through a growing range of accessible community programs, advocacy, and support services, it addresses barriers and injustices faced by women, empowering them to co-create meaningful progress toward true gender equity for all. Since 2016, they have served over 1,000 women and gender-diverse individuals and distributed more than 350,900 essential items to those affected by violence, poverty, and oppression.
