The Drake Hotel is pleased to announce a four-week residency with Tacit Collective @tacitcollective, an online gallery dedicated to women artists, featuring four solo exhibitions by artists Anji Woodley, Alyssa Goodman, Maxine McCrann and Marcia Bianchi.

Anji Woodley's @anjiwoodley work is inspired by the natural world and the materials it provides her as an artist. To challenge throwaway culture within today’s society, Keep Your Receipts is a series of artworks that use receipts, discarded packaging, recycled paper bags, tissue paper, and scraps of paper from offcuts of previous works. The artwork also uses remnants of ink, paint, pen, pencil, handmade watercolour, and paper sourced from a Montreal paper mill made from t-shirt fibres.

Add your energy to the creative process as innovative artists from multiple disciplines showcase and discuss their work in the cozy confines of the lobby-turned-studio space.
