Joey (they/she) is a queer DJ based in Toronto whose sets are energetic and always danceable, undoubtedly playing to the vibe of the crowd. Joey got her DJing start with their monthly show on ISO Radio (2019 to 2024) and has DJd at Toronto bars La Piscina, Drom, Paradise Grapevine, Rivoli, Hail Mary, Three Dollar Bill, The Phoenix (opening and closing DJ for Spice Girls tribute band Wannabe), and Dundas West Fest. 

With three years of artist management under their belt, and the co-founder of the music media social enterprise Serious Betty (2018-2022), Joey’s value system stems from her connection to subversive art culture. She is now a co-host of Queery, a general trivia night for queers, by queers, and throws parties that hold space for queer people of all intersections.
