    New Design

Brampton, Ontario band New Design blends the atmosphere and emotion of post-rock and emo to create dynamic soundscapes, accompanied by memorable melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Jeffrey Lee, Joseph Angilletta, Melissa Angilletta, Zachary Cattapan formed New Design in 2008. Drawing inspiration from American Football, Brand New, Moneen, Moving Mountains, and Toe, they released independent album Far From Home in 2015, followed by two EPs: “Where I Need To Be” and “What Was Left Unsaid” in 2019 and 2020. Over the years, New Design has toured across Canada and the United States, opening for notable bands including Prawn, Foxing, The Reign of Kindo, Tricot, Lifestory Monologue, Gates, and Don Ross. The band has also been featured on popular radio stations such as Y108 and 102.1 The Edge. After a brief hiatus in 2021, New Design has come together to write their second full-length album that will continue to express their emotive live sound; the one that has been captivating their audience for years.

    Spring Colours

Spring Colours is a chiptune, emo, noise-pop outfit from Toronto, Ontario. Their maximalist style offers effect-heavy guitars and nostalgic synthesizers, mixed with catchy hooks and high-energy performances. Influenced by bands like Wolf Parade, Tokyo Police Club, and Fucked Up; they aim to write sentimental songs wrapped in spry and dramatic arrangements. Spring Colours released their most recent EP ‘Loom’, in July 2023, and a single “Loud Noises, Indoor Voices” in September 2024.

    Jenny Palacios

Canadian songstress Jenny Palacios cut her teeth in the heart of Toronto's pop-punk scene at just 16 years old. Today, with an unapologetic blend of gritty pop-punk roots and the mesmerizing synth-driven vibes akin to Lights, The Naked and Famous, and Now Now, her music paints a picture of nostalgia and innovation. Drawing lyrical inspiration from the heartfelt anthems of the emo genre, she weaves introspective narratives that beckon you to explore your own emotions. Having shared the stage alongside notable acts like I The Mighty, Hawthorne Heights, Courage My Love, Alex Porat, MICO and more, to playing touring festivals like Vans Warped Tour, she has established herself as a dynamic presence in the industry. Collaborations with producers and artists such as Sam Guaiana, Phoenix Arn-Horn (of Softcult), and Kyle Marchant (of Nightwell) have propelled her sound into a category all its own. With magnetic stage presence and a genre-blurring approach, she's set to lead a new generation of musical storytellers, inviting you to delve into her world, where raw emotion and unapologetic grit coexist harmoniously.

    Sunset Adolescence

In short, it’s a tall, goofy dude in his late-20s with an acoustic guitar delivering some songs about loneliness, anxiety, depression; all the cheery stuff. Ontario-born and Vancouver-based. As for what it SOUNDS like? Suffice to say it’ll sound like a kid who grew up on Death Cab, Modern Baseball, and Turnover. As for what Sunset Adolescence means, it’s a metaphor about the twilight hours of the day applied to some years in your life: it’s that time in your 20s where you realize maybe the clock is winding down on the life you knew; partying with your friends, jobs free of too much responsibility, no major financial commitments. It’s watching the sun set on your youth and savouring those last days, weeks, months, or years that you have left before realizing you’re all grown up. These songs are a record of what’s been happening up until then.
