After only recently dropping their debut EP "Palette", Gold Coast three-piece daste have proven themselves a worthy addition to the Australian indie-electronic music scene. Forming in 2018, daste’s sound is personified by the layered production mixed with intricate detail and airy vocals, delivering a soulful and groove-oriented aesthetic.

Their debut and sophomore singles "Thinkin' Of" and "SOBER" have already clocked in over 100k Spotify streams each, which is a testament to the bands creative direction and song-writing ability. The releases have garnered support from Triple J and Triple J unearthed, being spun on both formats while earning praise from Home & Hosed host, Declan Byrne among many other presenters.

Entering into 2019 saw the group receive props from acclaimed Australian label Future Classic via their Future Classic Recommends YouTube playlist and furthering their credentials by collaborating with US clothing company Urban Outfitters on their YouTube tutorial series. With so much yet to come for the outfit, daste have already set the standard of what is expected to be a big year for the project.
