Lillian, Queenie, Makhyli, Olivia and Elana make up Boys World — the embodiment of five different, yet equally vibrant personalities with their own respective backgrounds, individual aesthetics, and talents. The members were scouted on social media through singing covers and have shared a house in Los Angeles ever since. Together they've built a massive social media imprint of 2M TikTok followers and popped off with their 2021 debut EP While You Were Out, inciting the praise of People claiming “Boys World Is the Next Big Girl Group.” With influences as expansive as Britney Spears, The Cure, Tayla Parx, Doja Cat, and Labrinth, they locked into a synergy of their own. In their later singles like “Something in the Water”, Boys World maintained momentum generating tens of millions of streams and earning critical acclaim with Billboard declaring “the group boasts a potent mix of personalities befitting a best-selling pop group".
Along the way, the collective has evolved as songwriters, participating in the writing of “SO WHAT” and their latest singles “Mantrum” and “me, my girls & i,” the latter receiving praise from NYLON as “Dua Lipa’s ’New Rules’ of 2023 (a great thing).” Having accumulated over 50M streams, they will be continuing their distinct and dynamic vision with the release of their EP me, my girls & i on June 23, 2023 and touring the east cost of the US in August 2023.
