What can I expect from Prince Edward County?
Prince Edward County has an abundance of charms and attractions, from secluded beaches to artist studios and antique stores, fabulous wineries and restaurants. The County is a climate defiant playground with all-season activities to enjoy. Whether you’d prefer to discover the area on your own or have us arrange tours and excursions for you, give the Front Desk a call and we’ll help you make the most of your stay. Our concierge department is at your disposal for any inquiries you may have about the local sights, sounds, and tastes of this wonderful area.
Make your way to one of the local beaches, minutes away from the Inn. The Millennium Trail, a short jaunt up the road, will lead you to nearby wineries, or further afield in the County if you’re feeling adventurous. We'll pack you a gourmet brown bag lunch and our neighbourhood vintners will supply the bouteille de vin (for everyone except the DD!) Make like a birder and spot Herons and Eiders; you won't have to look far, a majestic Great Blue Heron regularly fishes in Lane Creek, spanning the property.
Acquaint yourself with Prince Edward County’s delights, either by car or bicycle and sample locally sourced ingredients at one of the area’s gastro hotspots and indulge in a pint (or two) of local craft brew. Meander to the nearby vineyards and charming villages, such as Bloomfield and don't be surprised if antique shops, art galleries and artist studios divert your attention on the way back.
