Andrew Zukerman is a multi-disciplinary artist residing in Toronto. He graduated from OCAD in 2008 without specifying a major. His practice encompasses the fields of collage, experimental music composition, printmaking, film and small-edition publishing. Though the applications are diverse, the directive of cross-cultural pastiche and humorous re-appropriation is at the heart of his work.
The piece is basically me trying to vibe-match the Drake aesthetic. The colour scheme is based on a sunset from a few months ago spied from my Toronto apartment window - colours that played upon mid-Spring rain clouds on the horizon above a parking lot lit by sodium lights. Images are simply culled from my archive that I keep for projects such as this.
