Posted by Drake, 2 years, 1 month ago

As we toast the end of the 1960s with our Man Men final episode viewing party in the Hotel’s North Lounge, it seems appropriate to acknowledge the show’s role in introducing to a new generation the Manhattans and proper old-fashioneds tippled by our hard-boozing ad execs.

The art varies — folded aluminium, neon, sculpture-furniture, ye old painted canvases — and its enough to make this art-viewing a marathon.

Our curatorial team, head of cultural programming Mia Nielsen and assistant curator Rea McNamara, got caught in the maelstrom, but came out safely with some sure art bets for 2015. (Think pink, and yes, maybe even sculpture-furniture.)
