Things Heat Up For Twilight Tuesdays

Posted by Jen McNeely, August 11, 2016

The temperature is hovering at 40 degrees Celsius, so when we say, "Hot style" we mean, “Get me a cold glass of red sangria ASAP!”

This past Tuesday marked the launch of Twilight Tuesdays 2016, our third annual night market where we invite Bay Streeters and beyond to join us for live music + DJs, art installations and sumptuous food + drink. Like a good dinner party, we invite an eclectic mix of neighbouring restaurants to join us at the table (or in this case, the York Street Parkette) and switch up the guest list each week. End your 9-5 with a 5-9. Snack on great food and sip some sweet wine.

Next week (Aug 16), we'll be joined by our friends at Momofuku, Richmond Station and Thoroughbred Food & Drink. To see the full Twilight Tuesdays schedule, go here.

Whether you prefer sweet or savoury, wander the market and trade $5 tix for servings of the tastiest take on high-meets-low street food and too-good-to-be-true summertime treats.

Proceeds from food sales will be donated to the Out of the Cold program at nearby St. Andrew's Church. In past years, we've raised over $10k, enough for 1700 warm meals!
