Ferraro Takes a Rock N' Roll Road Trip

Posted by Drake, May 18, 2016

Rock n’ roll is coming to the County with Ferraro, Toronto’s renowned Cameron House brother band, taking over the Drake Devonshire stage for a night of buzzy electric guitars, drum and bass. Bringing the hype of the concrete jungle to Prince Edward County, we can’t wait to watch Ferraro shake, rattle + roll.

From their early beginnings as a hit song cover band, Ferraro emerged in the music scene as the descendants of The Cameron House, an iconic 60-person music venue, dating back to 1981. Originally opened by Anne Marie Ferraro, brother Paul Sanella and close friend Herb Tookey, The Cameron House has a reputation for legendary performances by Blue Rodeo, Jane Siberry and Ron Sexsmith (to name a few…). Years later, The Cameron House bar manager and label co-owner, Cosmo Ferraro, has teamed up with his brothers Tally and Giani, to continue music-making history with Ferraro, a band with a modern clash of heart and soul.

This Monday, May 23rd, County folks will band together to see Ferraro perform live to kick off another summer lakeside at Drake Devonshire's Summer Opener, with hit songs from their debut 10-song record, "Losing Sleep". Join us as we shake up Monday with rock n’ roll in the County.
