Remember the heat of August, (constant threat of rain) and Drake One Fifty's transformation of the York St. parkette into an evening market with delicious eats, drinks and live music with neighbours Momofuku, The Gabardine, Richmond Station, Tundra, and sponsors Grolsch and DREAM?

Here you thought you were coming to Twilight Tuesdays to eat your way through the parkette, but in fact, you were helping us raise funds for the Out of the Cold program program at nearby St. Andrew's Church.

All that eating paid off, because we raised $9000 to help provide warm meals for those who need them most during the coldest fall and winter months. That means more than a whole month of sponsorship for Out of the Cold, feeding the most vulnerable members of our community, and over 1600 warm meals served to those for whom a hot and nourishing meal is not something to be taken for granted.

The Out of the Cold program is a volunteer initiative that consists of congregations from faith groups, community members and advocates who provide safe refuge, hospitality and emergency shelter to Toronto's homeless community.

Thank you to our partners, sponsors, and of course, you!

We can't wait to do it again next year.
