With so many delicious summer dishes and several patios to choose from, we can't promise that your selection will be easy but it will definitely be delicious! Our summer menu lands on July 12th and we can't wait.
At Drake we always try and source our ingredients from local suppliers. In our Good Food section, you can find most of the farms, bakeries and amazing stores that provide Chef Darren Glew and our kitchen team the raw (get it?) materials that turn into the fresh and flavourful items on our dinner menu. Some of those include our Niçoise Tuna Tartare with taggiasca olive aloli, shallots + anchovy w/ cherry tomatoes, green beans + potato chips, our new Succotash Gnocchi with ricotta gnocchi, corn, shelled beans, peppers, arugula + goat cheese or our new pan roasted Canadian Branzino which comes with giant beans, leek and scallion relish. These are just some of the summer flavours on the menu this month at Drake (and some of the reasons we're counting down the days 'til July 12th)!
To all you classicists out there, don't worry. The Drake Burger (with cheddar, Perth bacon, Russian dressing, pickle + hand cut french fries) isn't going anywhere! It's our most popular item at Drake so you'll find it all year round.
All you have left to do is pick a patio! On the Sky Yard you'll find our famous Lemonade Stand cocktails. Everything is lucious and green on the North Patio while on the South Patio, which is now non-smoking, people-watching on Queen Street West is part of the fun.
