Sepalcure Steps Forward

Headlining at our What's In The Box music festival, Sepalcure is Travis Stewart and Praveen Sharma, a duo that has just finished releasing its self-titled full length album and is probably getting tired of all the critical praise.

The release comes on the heels of an already-successful 2011 that saw each member contribute solid offerings to the music world under alternate, solo monikers (Stewart, as Machinedrum with 'Rooms', and Sharma as Braille with an EP on Rush Hour).

Although Sepalcure isn't a new project (they released their Fleur EP in early 2010), the spotlight hasn't shone as brightly until now. Likely the result of each individual's hard work and relentless touring, reinforcing the combined effort leading up to its release.

With Sepalcure, one can find 90s R&B vocal samples combined with more contemporary bass-music elements, creating a unique sound that is instant dance-floor material. Check out their video below for lead single Pencil Pimp.

Sepalcure plays The Drake Underground on Dec 27 as part of What's In The Box
